Well, Mum and Dad have been very slack with their blog.
You'd think they'd be a bit better now that they're "semi-retired".
Dad did finally go ahead with his hernia operation, which is very commendable for someone who has probably only been to a doctor a couple of times in his life. I think a bit of nagging from Mum and the kids might have helped him to make his decision.
He is on the road to recovery, although there is still a bit of swelling and tenderness at the operation site.
About a week after the operation, the folks went for a trip up North for Reg Buckley's funeral.
I was surprised Dad was up to the driving.
They are just about to take off on a big trip in their campervan. They are driving over to Alice Springs via Mt Isa.
