No More Irrigating:

Well it’s finally happened – on Friday the 30th January 2009 (Mothers Birthday) the settlement for the sale of the Irrigation Block finally happened. By 3.30 p.m. we had the cheque in our hot little hands and raced across to Suncorp Bank and deposited the bulk of the cheque into a Term Deposit for 90 days. It was imperative to get the money in that day as we knew that interest rates would be down on Monday, which they were. After that we called around to see Les and Deb before buying Fish and Chips as a celebratory tea and heading home to a visit from Pete and the boys who were out for the weekend.
